Why Product Reminder?
When you go shopping, you generally have a shopping list with recurring items. Milk, sugar, coffee beans and coffee filters for instance. Then one very rainy and early Saturday morning your mother-in-law decides to drop by for a cup of coffee when suddenly… you’re out of coffee beans.
Nobody wants to be in this situation, wouldn’t it be great if you’d receive automatic reminder once the coffee runs out? Well look no further, this is exactly what the Product Reminder is created for!
How does it work?
Once you install the app you’ll have direct access to DotCommerce’s appframework, where the app can be configured. In the appframework you simply create a new reminder, connect one or more products or categories. Then compose a reminder-message to go with it and set how long the app will delay the message and you’re good to go.
Once, a customer orders one of these products they’ll receive a reminder within a certain amount of days.
It is possible to link mutliple products or categories to a single reminder. It is also possible to create multiple reminders at once. You can modify or delete reminders at any given time.
